Concert of classical folk songs, Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 73, as well as the Persian Folk Songs of Reza Vali. The audience is invited to join a traditional Persian tea ceremony afterwards, with a presentation on the history and customs of tea drinking in Iran by Dr. Theresa Steward, a pianist and musicologist whose ethnomusicological research focus is in Iranian studies.
