SARAH HAGEN MCWILLIAMS
Originally from Erie, PA, Ms. McWilliams graduated in 1988 with a BA in art history from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH.
She went on to earn a master’s degree in clinical social work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and worked for many years in a clinical capacity with adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Retired from social work, Ms. McWilliams is currently a community volunteer and philanthropist and has served in several leadership positions on the boards of many regionally and nationally known nonprofits.
In addition to Garth Newel Music Center, she currently serves on the boards of Wittenberg University (OH), The Erie Community Foundation (PA), and Chautauqua Institution (NY).
Ms. McWilliams resides in Bath County, VA with her husband, Bruce, their four curious cats, and Loki, The Wonder Dog.
