At Garth Newel, education is rooted in community, mentorship, and the shared joy of making music. From the Allegheny Mountain String Project, which provides comprehensive string education to children across our region, to the Emerging Artist Fellowship Program, supporting the next generation of professional musicians, our programs nurture growth at every stage. The Amateur Chamber Music Retreat invites adult musicians to reconnect with their love of chamber music in a welcoming, collaborative setting, while Music in the Schools brings live chamber music, instruction, and inspiration directly into local classrooms. Together, these programs reflect Garth Newel’s commitment to lifelong musical learning and meaningful artistic connection.
