Thanksgiving will be a little different at Garth Newel this year. We’ve begun a major renovation project to transform Herter Hall—including new windows, a stage, kitchen, restrooms, administrative offices, and the McWilliams backstage wing. It’s an important investment that will enhance the experience for artists and audiences for years to come.
While Herter Hall is under renovation, please join us at The Omni Homestead for a lovely afternoon of music!
Music Feeds Us Thanksgiving Concert
When: November 26, 2026 | 2–3:30 p.m.
Where: The Omni Homestead | Crystal Ballroom
The concert is free and open to the public, though we request a monetary or non-perishable food donation which will go to the Blue Ridge Area Food bank, the largest hunger relief organization in central and western Virginia.
