New Years Eve Celebration
Ring in the New Year with an evening of chamber music and fine dining at Garth Newel.
7:00 PM Concert, followed by an optional celebratory feast with live band and entertainment.
Concert Program
Members of the Garth Newel Piano Quartet are joined by guest artists Stephen Fang (cello) and members of the Parker Quartet: Daniel Chong (violin) and Jessica Bodner (viola).
Program includes:
Frank Bridge – Lament for Two Violas
Gala Flagello – Burn as Brightly (Viola Duet)
Sergei Rachmaninoff – Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano, Op. 19
Joaquín Turina – Scène Andalouse
The evening features viola duos by Bridge and Flagello, Rachmaninoff’s expressive sonata for cello and piano, and Turina’s vibrant Scène Andalouse sextet.

First Course
Lobster Cake with chive red pepper and fried leek slaw, roasted yellow pepper beurre blanc, green pea and lemon oil, and turmeric crème fraîche
Second Course
Warm mushroom, arugula, and frisée salad on brioche crostini with goat cheese and red wine truffle vinaigrette
Intermezzo
Pomegranate and white peach sorbet with hibiscus crystals and mint syrup
Main Course
Herb-crusted beef tenderloin and seared prawns with blue cheese whipped potatoes, chive crab butter, crispy kale, pan-fried broccolini, and champagne garlic cream sauce
Dessert
Chocolate mousse cups with fig and strawberry compote, caramelized banana anglaise, chocolate shavings, raspberry coulis, and ginger tuile
