New Year’s Day Concert & Brunch
Welcome the New Year with a midday concert and brunch at Garth Newel.
12:00 PM Concert, followed by an optional brunch buffet.
Concert Program
Members of the Garth Newel Piano Quartet are joined by guest artist Stephen Fang (cello) and members of the Parker Quartet: Daniel Chong (violin) and Jessica Bodner (viola).
Program includes:
Johannes Brahms – Horn Trio in E♭ major, Op. 40
Robert Schumann – Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44
The program features Brahms’s beloved Horn Trio and Schumann’s effervescent Piano Quintet—music full of warmth, lyricism, and celebration.
New Year’s Day Brunch Buffet

Crab Benedict with dill hollandaise and sautéed spinach
Applewood bacon and herb sausage
French toast with apple, cranberry relish, and Highland maple syrup
