The Tea House Series explores the historical, philosophical, and artistic aspects of tea culture which are echoed in its nation’s music. 

The two Tea Houses are ticketed events

Special guest Professor Janet Ikeda and the Chanoyu Tea Society of Washington and Lee University will perform an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony during this concert of works by Takemitsu and Ishii and will cap this event by serving traditional dry sweets and tea to the audience. Attendance for this intimate event is limited to 30 people. Reserve your spot here!
